This project provides science and research support for planning of new and developing salmon aquaculture operations in Tasmania.
This year a focus is on the development of spatial decision-support tools for salmon aquaculture. We are continuing and expanding research initiated in a pilot study in the D’Entrecasteaux Channel in 2019 by including other areas in Tasmania. Core priorities to support this research are to:
